Francesco Acquaroli visited the historic operational headquarters in Fano together with other regional authorities.
The President of the Marche Region visited the SRT company’s Fano plant. Accompanying Acquaroli were also Vice President Mirco Carloni, Councillors Stefano Aguzzi and Francesco Baldelli and the Head of Cabinet Fabio Pistarelli.
The visit was an opportunity to showcase the company and present the railway machines it currently produces, like the Vulcano rail grinder, in detail. The authorities also observed the company’s positive trends and its important relationship with the territory in terms of exponential growth, increased employment and economic spin-offs.
2020 was a year of great development for SRT, with an increased turnover of 73.2% compared to the previous year and a growth in human resources of 64.8%. The company has also recently opened a new plant with an indoor area of approximately 5,500 m2 in the industrial area of Sant’Ippolito (PU), through which it aims to double its production capacity.
The growth in the activities and the development of the two plants have resulted in substantial direct benefits for the regional territory, such as greater employment, together with important spin-offs involving a wide range of local businesses and institutions.
