The SRT Heavy ballast regulator is ideal for maintaining, shaping and levelling the ballast of railway lines. Equipped with a state-of-the-art optical system, it is able to verify the shape of the track before and after profiling, to ensure unbeatable precision. It is able to dress any ballast profile thanks to two side ploughs that clear the track and distribute the material both on and around it.

The main ploughs shift large volumes of ballast, while the wings next to the track complete the shaping procedure. A broom with integrated brushes cleans the track after the operation. Suitable for both maintenance and the construction of new railway lines, this ballast regulator is highly efficient thanks to its four motorized axles, which enable it to tow wagons of ballast, minimizing the need for other construction vehicles.
