The Vulcano Light rail grinder, available in configurations from 10 to 20 stones, is designed for the bidirectional grinding and restoration of rails on track and turnouts. Compliant with the UNI EN 13231-3 standard, it provides efficient service even in extreme environmental conditions.
Thanks to its integrated measuring systems and Industry 4.0 technologies, both grinding operations and the machine’s internal diagnostics can be remote controlled. This ensures optimal efficacy and performance, with precise correction of short, medium and long undulation waves.
The Stage V engines reduce emissions, while the dust extraction systems and pressurized, soundproofed cabs ensure an optimal working environment. A state-of-the-art spark protection system combines with equipment such as lances and sprinklers to reduce fire risks and guarantee the highest safety levels.
