T28 gantry crane
Efficient, precise turnout and track panel laying
The T28 gantry crane is designed to optimize the handling and replacement of turnouts and track panels. Its rugged electro-welded steel structure includes an operator cab with control console, engine and hydraulic power unit, all of which can also be controlled from a distance via radio remote control.
Able to travel on both crawler tracks and railway wheels, the T28 operates in complete independence during track removal and laying and can be loaded or unloaded on a wagon or semi-trailer for lengthy transfers. Two vertical hydraulic cylinders raise the gantry on the crawler tracks to adapt to different ground levels while keeping the load horizontal.
