SRT has designed and built a new outfitting to transport waste materials, flexible and useful equipment for track and turnout ballast cleaning and replacement.
The conveyor belt loader outfitting, installed between the excavator machine and the wagons (DHS or similar) to transport waste material, raises waste up to the level of the first wagon.
Unlike the traditional drop side wagons used in turnout ballast replacement, the conveyor belt of this outfitting allows material to be loaded without using the adjacent track.
This new equipment is one of the wide range of outfittings that can be installed on the Sgmns modular platform on a 4-axle wagon: from the DHS (Dynamic Hopper System) to the hopper and from the sleeper transport to the drop sides. These solutions are designed to expand the activities that can be performed with the same wagon and optimise the use of your fleet.
