A new rail grinder, the innovative and flexible Vulcano Light, joins SRT’s product catalogue.
The latest addition to the Vulcano range of rail grinders is called Light and it features a particularly small gauge that allows it to operate on metro lines.
SRT grinding trains are state-of-the-art, extremely flexible, new-concept machines that ensure high performance in track and turnout profiling, as well as enabling track geometry diagnostics and ultrasonic control.
They can operate in extreme environmental conditions and are equipped with Industry 4.0 systems and advanced measuring tools.
Like all SRT products, the rail grinders have been developed with great attention to environmental sustainability, in particular by introducing innovative solutions designed to limit gas emissions and systems to collect and dispose of production waste.
This new machine, available in 10 and 22 grinding stone versions, joins the Vulcano rail grinder series, which also includes the heavy model, featuring scalable configurations from 22 to 96 grinding stones, for all needs.
