DHS – Dynamic Hopper System
Optimizes productivity in railway works.
The DHS (Dynamic Hopper System) wagon is a vehicle specifically designed to optimize the loading, transport and unloading of bulk materials with different sizes and granulometry, including the waste generated by railway ballast cleaning works.
This solution, based on a heavy flat wagon, is equipped with a large hopper, hydraulically powered conveyor belts and its own power unit, making it an effective railway infrastructure construction and maintenance unit, compliant with the EN 14033 series standards.
The DHS is available in two configurations depending on the type of power unit installed, diesel or hybrid, to considerably reduce noise and pollutant emissions.
An on-board computer enables the user to view data and monitor the vehicle’s performance from remote.
The installation of multiple on-board sensors enables the DHS to operate automatically and independently, significantly improving productivity and minimizing the need for human intervention. Able to respond to widely varying operating needs, it is an essential tool for improving the efficiency of railway works, while also reducing consumption and optimizing resources.
What’s more, a train of from 2 to 12 DHS units can be monitored and/or controlled by a control unit on a Heavy wagon.

Configurations available

DHS Diesel
Equipped with a diesel engine, this model combines power and reliability, ideal for withstanding lengthy, high-intensity railway operations. The diesel configuration guarantees outstanding performance even in continual heavy-duty conditions, with an immediate, effective response to the toughest situations.

DHS Hybrid
The hybrid version of the DHS combines the power of diesel with the efficiency of the electric motor. In full electric mode, this model can operate in complete autonomy, minimizing emissions and noise, ideal for working in sensitive or urban environments. The booster function adds extra power when needed, combining sustainability with uncompromising performance.
